CG Education & Research Consultancy
ABOUT ME:
I am an Education & Research Consultant, an Applied Linguist, a Teacher Trainer, an Online Tutor/Trainer, EAP/ESP Instructor, Researcher, Materials writer, Editor and co-owner of two private language schools in Greece.

I have had the pleasure to work in the field of education for over 15 years. In Greece, I served as a Director of Studies for a chain of language schools in Southwestern Greece, and coordinated the Young Learners' program. My academic career began in the UK, where I had the privilege to teach Applied Linguistics to postgraduate students at London Metropolitan University. Parallel to my work at the university, I taught primary school children at the ICS International Community School, and then general English and EAP at LSI Hampstead. It was not long before I began working as a teacher trainer and worked with practitioners from across the globe interested in becoming English language teachers.

I currently work in Higher Education where I lecture courses in Applied Linguistics to students at a BA and MA level at Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Cyprus. I have also collaborated with publishers, such as HarperCollins and Cambridge University Press, ELT/TESOL Associations, such as QLS (Greece) and Ministries of Education (UAE, Cyprus) on a number of projects offering consultancy, research, editing and material writing services.

I have a strong research record in the field of Applied Linguistics and have published in peer-reviewed academic journals, edited volumes, ELT magazines and conference proceedings. I specialize in the areas of early language learning, Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), policies in language education, assessment, and professional development in English Language Teaching (ELT).

Finally, I am on the Editorial board of TESOL Journal, Chair of the EuroCALL Teacher Education Special Interest Group and the EuroCALL National Contact for Greece.
